What’s new(s) at FYI!
First off, on behalf of the team at Find Your Influence I’d like to thank you for partnering us. We’ve been up and running for over a year now, and we couldn’t be happier with all the great bloggers, instagramers and influencers we’ve had the opportunity to work with. Your passion is what fuels our platform, and together, the sky is the limit!
We’re planning to reach out to our influencer family once a month with regular updates, campaign success, influencers to watch along with some helpful educational content designed to help you better monetize your influence.
For example, you may have noticed a few changes to the FYI platform, but if you haven't here are a few things to look for:
Did you know that as an FYI influencer you are tiered by your reach, authenticity, quality of content and engagement? Through this tier, you’re given a set price for when an advertiser would like to work with you.
However, you now can negotiate! When you receive an offer and you'd like to ask for a higher rate, you can now make a counter offer. Please note: this is a setting for advertisers who may opt in or out based on their budget.
We‘ve added tabs so you now can easily and seamlessly toggle from your campaign details to your stats page, this way you’re able to grab your tracking code and all the requirements in one place.
Have you ever wondered whom FYI is working with? Well, now you can search and find our advertisers! Just got to “Find Advertisers,” search by industry, category or just browse them all.
Advertisers can now offer display ads along with content campaigns. Typically, we see a 3-5 percent increase in results when a display ad is included. For this, you can now provide your flat rate fee within your FYI profile.
We also have some awesome news involving a few of our advertisers! Zappos Couture, V8 and LifeLock have all launched evergreen campaigns with our influencers, meaning the campaigns are timeless, and could run all year long.
So if you’re currently working on a campaign with one of these awesome brands, you could be working with them multiple times throughout the year. Their decisions, however, are based on your performance, quality of sponsored blog post and social posts, along with the goals and themes for their campaign.
We’ve also launched FYI Lite, which lets brands and advertisers of all sizes try out our self-service platform and also contact you directly for a campaign. In this case, please keep in mind that it’s important to communicate with the advertiser using the message center, and also to follow up directly with the client on any questions, concerns, deadlines, etc.
Our research tells us this option helps us reach our goals of helping you facilitate lasting relationships with brands you enjoy working with, getting paid and having a one-stop-shop for all the campaign details.

Ashley "Shines" as a blogger, a business owner and an FYI influencer
Veteran FYI Influencer Ashley LeMieux of The Shine Project has won the entire FYI team over with her giving heart and positive outlook on life. Not only does Ashley simultaneously run her blog and business, she does it while promoting a happy and healthy lifestyle and working to make the world a better place.
Ashley is a wife, mother and business owner who employs inner-city youth to hand make jewelry and help fund their college dreams. Since 2011, The Shine Project has given over 40 scholarships to inner city students, opening doors for educational and professional opportunities, giving them a chance to change their lives for the better.
Since being introduced to FYI over a year ago by our very own Influencer Relationship Manager, Lyndsey, Ashley has worked with us on a number of campaigns, including sponsored posts with Higgle and Discount Tire.
When asked why she enjoys working with FYI she said, "I love working with Find Your Influence because the process is really easy and the expectations are set up right from the beginning. There are a wide range of brands to do campaigns for and it's something new every time!"

Client Campaign Feature: Higgle
In 2014, Higgle came to FYI with a challenge – how to onboard early adaptors for their newly launched, invite-only retail marketplace in the most dynamic way possible. Higgle's strategy included granting early access to a select group of users, in order to help build the community surrounding Higgle. They targeted people who love discovering new products, shopping with friends and getting great prices.
Working with FYI's platform, Higgle selected from a series of bloggers, who were asked to showcase the retail marketplace on their blogs and social media channels. The influencers encouraged their followers to sign up on the Higgle website to get an exclusive invitation, and be one of the first people to use the site.
Before partnering with FYI, Higgle was averaging 10 new users a day. Their FYI campaign had an estimated reach of 46,000 potential users, and helped to increase their daily sign up rate to 80 users a day.
